Paul registered two shots in just 6:09 TOI in his season debut vs. the Avalanche on Saturday, but returns to Belleville where he has five assists in 11 games so far this season.
Paul, 20, may make his NHL debut on Tuesday with Mika Zibanejad questionable with an illness. Paul has picked up 17 points (6G / 11A) in 45 games with Binghamton this season. He centred the fourth line with Shane Prince and Chris Neil on the wing in the Senators’ morning skate.
Paul did not appear in a game with the Senators during his call-up. He head back to Binghamton, where he has 17 points (6G / 11A) in 43 games this season.
Paul, 19, was selected in the fourth-round (#101 overall) in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft. Paul had 26 goals and 20 assists (46 points) in 67 games with the North Bay Battalion (OHL) this season. Paul had a strong postseason as well, posting 18 points (12G / 6A) in 22 games.
