Zaitsev will draw back into the Senators lineup on Monday.

Zaitsev left the Senators' last game vs. Boston after just 7:16 TOI due to an undisclosed injury and will be out for the "next little bit" according to head coach DJ Smith. The 31-year-old stay-at-home defender had three assists, six SOG and a -6 plus/minus in 19 games prior to the injury.

Zaitsev is expected to draw back into the Senators lineup on Thursday.

Zaitsev has been a healthy scratch for the last four games but is set to replace Nick Holden in the lineup on Thursday. Zaitsev has only appeared in one game this season, failing to get on the scoresheet in 12:12 TOI.
