Acciari underwent surgery to repair a left index finger fracture; expected to miss six weeks.
Acciari fractured his finger during the second period of the Bruins’ opening night win over the Predators. The 25-year-old will be sidelined until approximately mid-November and his injury opens the door for Austin Czarnik to get into the lineup on Saturday.
The Bruins have signed Noel Acciari to a two-year, $1.45M extension ($725K AAV).
Acciari, 25, is a hard-hitting bottom-6 forward who had five points (2G / 3A) in 29 games with the Bruins and added 14 points (6G / 8A) in 30 AHL games with Providence. Acciari will likely break training camp in a Boston uniform.
