Patrick Brown has been recalled from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL) after he was assigned there for a rehab stint just recently. The 30-year-old has 12 points (6G/6A) through 77 career NHL games played prior to his debut Thursday.
Brown (back) is considered week-to-week.
Brown underwent back surgery in the offseason and is considered week-to-week, putting his status for the start of the season in doubt. Brown has resumed skating but has not been cleared for contact. If he misses time to start the season, look for Artem Anisimov (PTO) or Tanner Laczynski to take his spot as the fourth-line centre.

With Kevin Hayes out to open the season, the Flyers are a little thin down the middle, which is why they added the 29-year-old Brown. He has just three points (2G / 1A) in 33 career NHL games with Carolina and Vegas.
