Sharp has been out since October 20th, but was back on the ice on Tuesday in a no-contact jersey and appears to be nearing a return to the lineup. It doesn’t look like he will play vs. the Avalanche on Thursday, but a Saturday return seems likely.
Sharp (concussion-like symptoms) worked out on Sunday; still remains without a timetable for return.
Sharp has missed the last four games with concussion-like symptoms, but he skated on Sunday, which is a positive sign that he is progressing. However, Sharp remains without a firm timetable for when he’s expected to return to the lineup.

The Blackhawks traded Patrick Sharp and Stephen Johns to the Stars for Trevor Daley and Ryan Garbutt.
Sharp has been promoted to the first line.
Sharp snapped a 19-game goal-less streak with two goals on six shots in the Blackhawks win over the Sharks on Saturday. With Sharp on the top-line, Kris Versteeg looks like he will be a healthy scratch.
Sharp will skate on the Blackhawks fourth line on Monday.
Sharp has three goals and four assists (7 points) in nine games since returning from a leg injury, but tonight he will skate with Marcus Kruger and Ben Smith on the Hawks’ fourth line. With Brad Richards coming back someone had to be bumped down, but it is surprising to see it be Sharp.
