Cedric Paquette News

Paquette has missed the last two games and missing practice this morning puts him in danger of making it three straight. Paquette has been officially listed as questionable.

Paquette suffered an undisclosed injury while blocking a shot in Saturday’s loss in Chicago. Paquette will come out of the lineup on Tuesday and could be replaced by Brian Boyle, who is listed as a game-time decision. Paquette is listed as day-to-day.

The Lightning will go with the same lineup as they did in the regular season opener, so Paquette will sit out with a foot injury again. Look for him to return at some point next week.

Paquette has been battling a foot injury since he blocked a shot in September’s 26th preseason game. Not taking part in line rushes this morning suggests he will not play tonight vs. the Flyers. With Paquette out, J.T Brown should enter the lineup.

Paquette has been dealing with a left foot injury throughout the preseason and Monday was the first time that he practiced in a week. Despite his absence over the last seven days, Paquette is expected to be ready for the Lightning’s opener on Thursday.

It looked as if Paquette may have broken his leg in very similar fashion as Steven Stamkos, but it turns out that there is no break and Paquette is just day-to-day. There is no word whether he will play on Monday.

Paquette’s leg bent at a very ugly angle after getting it caught up on the post trying to prevent an empty-net goal. He was in obvious pain and was unable to put any weight on his right leg. The immediate concern is that Paquette broke his leg and will miss the rest of the season, but there was no update on his status after the game.

Paquette has missed the last six games, but he will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Predators. With Paquette back in the lineup, Vladimir Namestikov will take a seat. Paquette has 12 goals and seven assists in 56 games this season.

Paquette will likely miss his second straight game with an undisclosed injury. Monitor his status during the Lightning’s morning skate on Thursday.

Paquette left the morning skate with an undisclosed injury and it will keep him out of tonight’s game. With Paquette out, Brenden Morrow will be back in the Tampa Bay lineup.
