Stastny will be back in the Golden Knights lineup for the first time since October 8th. Stastny will centre Alex Tuch and Oscar Lindberg in his return. Stastny had no points in his first three games with Vegas but had 16 goals and 37 assists (53 points) in 82 games last season.

Stastny has been out since October 8th, missing the last 29 games with a lower-body injury. Stastny stayed on with the extras, which suggests that he won’t play tonight but Gerard Gallant will check with trainers and listed him as a game-time decision. Stastny is expected to skate with Max Pacioretty and Alex Tuch when he returns to the Vegas lineup but that might not happen until the weekend.

Stastny has been out since the third game of the season but was back at practice on Tuesday and has a chance to play on Wednesday. Expect an update following today’s morning skate in Brooklyn.

Stastny was back on the ice on Monday but head coach Gerard Gallant said he’s still a few weeks away. Stastny is 6.5 weeks removed from suffering a lower-body injury that was originally expected to cost him at least two months.

Stastny was picked up this offseason to stabilize the Golden Knights’ second line, but it looks like that duty will fall on Erik Haula until mid-December. Stastny “will be out for a bit, potentially up to two months” according to head coach Gerard Gallant. This will allow someone like Alex Tuch to move back into the top-6 right away as soon as he is healthy.

Stastny suffered a lower-body injury during the third period of the Golden Knights’ loss to the Sabres on Monday. The veteran centre will miss the rest of the road-trip and be re-evaluated when Vegas returns home. Cody Eakin will return to the lineup and make his season debut with Stastny out.

Stastny got dumped late in the third period of Monday’s loss to the Sabres and appeared to come up lame. Stastny was cut-down low and didn’t practice on Tuesday, so his status for Wednesday’s game is up in the air. If Stastny is out, Erik Haula is expected to move to centre and Tomas Nosek will play on the second line.

Stastny elected not to re-sign with the Jets, who acquired him from St. Louis at last year’s deadline. Stastny finished the 2018 season with 16 goals and 37 assists (53 points) in 82 games. Stastny will line up as the Golden Knights’ second-line centre behind 2018 breakout star William Karlsson.

Stastny, who was acquired from the Blues on Monday, will centre what might be the most lethal third line in hockey—he will have Nikolaj Ehlers and Patrik Laine on his flanks. Stastny has picked up 40 points (12G / 28A) in 63 games this season and should see an uptick in production on an extremely dangerous Jets squad.

The Blues have surprisingly started to drop out of the playoff race in the Western Conference so they decided to trade one of their pending free agents. Stastny was a player the Jets had their eye on before he signed with St. Louis prior to the 2014-15 season and now they’ve got him for the stretch run. He has 40 points (12G / 28A) in 63 games this season and will likely skate as the Jets’ third line centre—giving them one of the deepest lineups in the NHL.

Stastny has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury, but will return to the lineup vs. the Panthers. Stastny will skate with Alex Steen and Vladimir Tarasenko tonight and comes into play with 15 goals and 20 assists (35 points) in 54 games this season.

Stastny suffered a lower-body injury in Toronto last night and likely won’t play on Saturday. However, the Blues said he shouldn’t be out long-term so monitor the centre’s status heading into next week.
