Datsyuk will miss his fifth straight game with a lower-body injury. He was on the ice for the morning skate, but did not take part in line rushes. Monitor his status heading into the first game of their back-to-back on Saturday.

Datsyuk has missed the last four games with a lower-body injury but it looks like he has a chance to return tomorrow vs. the Sharks. The Red Wings have gone 1-2-1 in the four games that Datsyuk has missed.

Datsyuk will miss his third consecutive game and remains day-to-day with a lower-body injury. The Red Wings are struggling right now and could certainly use Datsyuk back in the lineup as soon as possible. Their next game is Tuesday vs. the Coyotes.

Datsyuk has missed the last four games with a sore groin, but will be back in the lineup tonight vs. the Flyers. He has missed a lot of time with injuries, this season, but when he has been in the lineup he has registered 11 points (5G / 6A) in 10 games. He will skate with Darren Helm and Stepheg Weiss.

Datsyuk skated on the Red Wings’ third line with Darren Helm and Stephen Weiss at Tuesday’s practice, which is a good sign that he will replace Tomas Jurco in the Red Wings lineup tomorrow. A final decision on Datsyuk won't be made until after Wednesday's morning skate.

Datsyuk had been working his way towards a return tonight vs. Toronto, but it did not come to fruition. The Maple Leafs have caught a break, this is their third time facing Detroit and Datsyuk has yet to suit up in any of those games. Monitor his status prior to Monday’s home game vs. Ottawa.

Datsyuk will not play tonight vs. Jets, but went out for a skate after the Red Wings’ morning skate and is trying to work towards a return to the lineup on Saturday vs. Toronto. Monitor his status over the next few days.

Datsyuk is not on the ice for the Red Wings morning skate so it looks like he will not play for the second straight game. He continues to battle a groin injury and will now target Saturday vs. Toronto for a return.

Missing practice this afternoon does not bode well for Datsyuk’s status for Thursday’s game in Winnipeg. He continues to be hampered by a groin injury and remains day-to-day for the time being.

Datsyuk will miss his second straight game with a groin injury that he suffered on Friday before their win vs. the Devils. “I have no idea when Pav will be back,” coach Mike Babcock said Saturday. After Sunday, the Wings don’t play again until Friday, so he will have a full week to heal.
