Holland is expected to be a healthy scratch on Saturday.

With Byron Froese coming up from the AHL and making his NHL debut tonight, Holland is expected to be a healthy scratch. However, Leo Komarov is listed as a game-time decision, if he is unable to play, look for Holland to get into the lineup.

Holland is week-to-week with an upper-body injury.

Holland missed Friday’s game with an upper-body injury and will obviously miss Saturday’s game vs. the Jets as well. With a week-to-week injury it is hard to pinpoint when Holland will return until he is upgraded to day-to-day.

Holland is not at the Leafs morning skate because of an illness.

Holland likely won't play tonight because of a stomach flu. That means David Clarkson moves to the second line and NIkolai Kulemin shifts to the third line centre. Monitor Holland's status in warmups, but he is questionable after missing the skate.

Holland is doubtful for tonight's game with "lace-bite".

Holland is on crutches with the bizarre injury that makes him unable to put any weight on his extremely swollen foot. Greg McKegg was recalled this morning and could make his NHL debut in Holland's spot.

The Maple Leafs have recalled Peter Holland from Toronto (AHL).

When playing in the Maple Leafs top-6, Holland was producing at a pretty consistent clip, however he has been skating on the fourth line for his last four games with Toronto which handicaps his value and production. That is likely where Holland will find himself on Tuesday vs. Boston, because he isn't about to overtake Tyler Bozak or Nazem Kadri on the top two lines.

The Maple Leafs have reassigned Peter Holland to Toronto (AHL).

Holland played well in an expanded role while Tyler Bozak was out, but with Bozak, Nazem Kadri and Jay McClement ahead of him, Maple Leafs head coach Randy Carlyle has not been able to find a role for Holland. He will go to the AHL where he will see much more ice-time than the 4:10 he played last night.
