The Blues did not name a starter for Saturday, so the North Pole, Alaska native could make his first career NHL start.
Copley, 24, has gone 11-11-1 with a 2.75 GAA and .905 SV% with Chicago this season. With Jake Allen still sidelined, Copley has been recalled and is expected to backup Brian Elliott until Allen returns.
Copley served as Braden Holtby’s backup over the weekend while Justin Peters was on a conditioning stint with Hershey.
