Rick Nash has announced his retirement from the NHL.
“Due to unresolved issues/symptoms from the concussion sustained last March, Rick Nash will be forced to retire from the game of hockey,” agent Joe Resnick said in a statement on Twitter. Nash finishes his career with 437 goals and 368 assists (805 points) in 1060 regular season games with the Blue Jackets, Rangers and Bruins.

The Bruins have acquired Rick Nash from the Rangers for a 2018 1st round pick, a 2019 7th round pick, Ryan Spooner, Matt Beleskey and Ryan Lindgren.
Nash, 33, has picked up 18 goals and 10 assists (28 points) in 60 games with the Rangers this season. Nash, who is in the final year of his eight-year contract, is expected to make his Bruins debut right away as he is en route to Buffalo for this afternoon’s game. The Rangers will retain 50% of Nash’s salary.

Nash will not play against the Canadiens on Thursday.
The Rangers are reportedly close to moving Nash so they will sit him tonight as a precautionary measure.
Nash (undisclosed) will not play Wednesday in Washington.

Nash is battling an upper-body injury, but there is no word when he suffered the injury. With Nash out and Michael Grabner still not ready to play, Matt Puempel will draw into the lineup on Thursday. Nash is day-to-day, so monitor his status leading up to Sunday’s game in Detroit.
Nash (groin) will return to the Rangers lineup on Friday.
Nash has missed the last eight games with a groin injury, but he will return to the lineup tonight vs. Toronto. Nash has registered 13 goals and seven assists (20 points) in 30 games this season. Tonight he will skate with Oscar Lindberg and Jimmy Vesey.

Nash hurt his groin on Sunday and will miss the next three games. Nash had scored two goals in three games since returning after a four-game absence. Brandon Pirri will draw back into the lineup with Nash out.

Nash missed the last four games with a groin injury, but will be back in the lineup tonight in Dallas. Nash has had a solid year, scoring 11 goals with seven assists across 27 games. Nicklas Jensen was sent to Hartford and his spot in the lineup will be taken by Nash.

Nash will miss his fourth consecutive game with a groin injury, but he was on the ice for the morning skate and is expected to travel on the Rangers’ upcoming two-game road-trip.

Nash (knee) will be a game-time decision on Saturday afternoon.
Nash has been sidelined by a knee injury since January 22nd but as long as he feels good enough to play on Saturday, he will return to the lineup vs. the Red Wings. Nash has 33 points (12G / 21A) in 45 games this season. Monitor his status a few hours prior to the 2 p.m. ET puck-drop.

Nash has missed the last eight games with a deep bone bruise in his leg. It seemed as if Nash was nearing a return to the lineup, but he has now been ruled out of at least the next four games. He will be re-evaluated after next week.
