Fabbri missed the last six games with a concussion, but will be back on Tuesday vs. the Lightning. He had one goal in his first two games this season and with Jaden Schwartz out for 12 weeks, Fabbri has a chance to carve out a big role if he plays well. He will start back on the third line with Scott Gomez and Troy Brouwer.

Despite practicing on Friday, Fabbri is not ready to go on Saturday. With Fabbri out and Jaden Schwartz suffering an injury in practice the Blues will recall Ty Rattie from the AHL and he will play on Saturday. Monitor Fabbri’s status heading into next week.
Fabbri returned to practice this afternoon as he nears a return from a concussion that he suffered on October 10th. He has missed the last five games, but monitor his status before Saturday’s game.
Fabbri was injured in the first period of Saturday’s 3-2 loss to the Wild. Blues coach Ken Hitchcock was not impressed with the hit calling it a “shot to the head.” The Blues are considering him day-to-day, but don’t plan on updating his status until he is cleared to return to practice. With Fabbri out, either Scottie Upshall or Scott Gomez are expected to play on Tuesday.
Fabbri left Saturday’s game in the first period after taking an elbow to the head. He played just 3:27 TOI of game two in his nine game NHL tryout. Consider him day-to-day.
Fabbri, 18, was selected 21st overall in this summer's draft. He finished second on the Guelph Storm in scoring, piling up 45 goals and 42 assists (87 points) in 58 games.
