Bortuzzo served as a healthy scratch on Saturday, but will be back in the lineup tonight in Buffalo. Joel Edmundson will come out of the lineup to make room for Bortuzzo.

Bortuzzo missed the last two games, but will be available for Saturday’s season finale. There is no word on who would come out of the lineup, but Bortuzzo could be in there to give someone a night off heading into the playoffs.

Bortuzzo will miss his second straight game after suffering an upper-body injury on Sunday. With Bortuzzo out, Carl Gunnarsson will certainly stay in the lineup on Thursday.

Bortuzzo will not be in the lineup on Tuesday, which suggests that Carl Gunnarsson will be back in the lineup. Bortuzzo is listed as day-to-day.

The Blues acquired Zbynek Michalek earlier in the day, who is a shot blocking defensive defenseman, but he is recovering from a concussion right now so the Blues add Bortuzzo as insurance. Bortuzzo is an in-your-face physical defenseman who plays a relatively simple game.

Bortuzzo has missed the last five games, but was on the ice for the Pens’ morning skate and could be back in the lineup tonight. He will take part in warmups and based on how his body reacts will determine if he plays tonight or not.

Bortuzzo will make his NHL debut tonight, however he isn't fantasy relevant.

The rookie had no points in six games and loses all immediate fantasy hockey value by returning to the minors.

Bortuzzo is expected to head back to the minors when he gets healthy.
