Roberto Luongo News

Luongo will start tomorrow for the Canucks.

Cory Schneider started the last two Canucks contests and played great in both recording 2 wins and only allowing 1 goal in each game. Luongo will start tomorrow vs. the Wild and comes into the game with a 3-game winning streak intact. Despite all the trade rumours Luongo has been great posting a 3-0-2 record with a 1.53 GAA and .940 SV%. He is a must-start when he plays.

This goalie controversy keeps getting better with each passing game. Luongo will start his 4th straight game and is coming off of back to back wins. He has only allowed 3 goals in the last 3 games and is a must-start while he is hot.

This will be Luongo's third straight start and he is getting rewarded for having to great games in a row, including a shutout vs. Colorado yesterday. The Blackhawks are good though, might not be the best matchup for Luongo.

#Canucks Luongo off first, looks like he's starting.

This will be Luongo's first back-to-back action of the season and it appears as if the Canucks are rewarding Luongo for his solid performance against the Kings on Monday. If Luongo continues to play well he may earn more playing time.

Luongo gets the start for the Canucks tonight.

This will only be Luongo's second start of the season. His last start came on January 20 where he took the overtime loss against the Oilers. The possibility of Luongo being traded is still there and becoming the #1 in another city would certainly increase his fantasy value. Until then he will continue to see limited starts behind Cory Schneider.

AV confirms Luongo gets the start tonight. #Canucks

Luongo entered the game last night for a struggling Cory Schneider. Both goalies have fantasy value but they limit each other. It would be a good idea to have both guys as long as they play on the same team. Looks like a Halak-Elliott time-share in the making.
