Ryan Miller News

Miller will start tonight for the Sabres.

It is easy to say that Miller hasn't been good this year but I think more blame needs to be placed on the lack of defence that has been played in front of Miller. He has seen more shots that any other goalie in the NHL so far this season and while his GAA (2.97) is rather high his .913 SV% ranks 16th in the NHL. Miller will face a Senators team tonight that only has 7 goals in their last 5 games.

As expected, Ryan Miller will get the start in goal for the Sabres against the Islanders' Evgeni Nabokov.

We might see Enroth tomorrow for the Sabres but given the importance of the games, Miller may go back-to-back.

Optional skate for Sabres this morning, with Ryan Miller and Thomas Vanek among those resting for back-to-back games this weekend.

If Enroth was on the ice this morning, it is unlikely he will suit up tonight. There is speculation that Enroth could start after the Bruins' game was cancelled so this could come down to a gametime decision.

Miller gets the nod for the Sabres.

Miller has struggled to open the season posting a 3-4-1 record with a 3.11 GAA and .906 SV%. In his last 4 starts he's allowed 4 goals in each game going 1-2-1 in that stretch. The one thing he has going for him is the Sabres are scoring, but he needs to start stopping more rubber if he is going to be a #1 fantasy option.

Miller will start for the Sabres.

Miller got lit up yesterday by the Habs but the Sabres are going to go back to him again today against Florida. The Sabres are giving up the most shots per game in the NHL right now which makes it tough on Miller. However the Panthers make for a pretty easy matchup.

Ryan Miller to start for the Sabres.

Miller is 1-2 with 11 goals against in his last 3 starts will look to get back on track against the Habs tonight. The Sabres are scoring with good regularity if that continues it will certainly help Millers fantasy value. He is still a solid #1 fantasy goalie.

Miller will be in goal tonight for the Sabres.

This is going to be the first time that Miller takes on the Bruins since the game where he was rocked by Lucic last season. Miller only has 2 wins in 5 games but he's had a good start to the season with a 2.37 GAA and .925 SV%. He has a tough matchup tonight but don't you think he wants to have a great game and stick it to Lucic?

Miller is 2-2 with a 2.01 GAA and .941 SV% this season and has a good track record against the Maple Leafs. Miller makes for a good start anytime he plays the Leafs, start with confidence.

It's Ryan Miller and Michal Neuvirth in net for the Sabres and Capitals this afternoon.

Miller is expected to get almost all the starts for the Sabres this year. He's 2-1 with a 1.67 GAA and .952 SV% this year. With Vanek out it could be tough for the Sabres to score in this contest... Then again the Capitals are struggling out of the gate as well. Miller should be a good start today.

Miller is 2-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .953 SV% on the season. So far so good for Miller, and as long as the Sabres continue to score in front of him he should be a reliable #1 fantasy goalie. Start with confidence.

Miller got the win yesterday over the Flyers making 27 saves on 29 shots. The Sabres have 3 games in these next 5 days, so Miller is likely to start 2 of these next 3. Miller and the Sabres could have a good season so make sure Miller is in your lineup.

Ryan Miller gets the start in Sabres season opener.

Miller wasn't the same last season as he was in years past, and some of that can be contributed to the concussion he suffered from a hit by Milan Lucic. Expect a bounce back season from Miller as he looks to regain his elite goalie status.
