Miller (knee) will return as the Ducks backup on Wednesday.

Miller, who has been out since December 9th, will serve as Kevin Boyle’s backup on Wednesday. Boyle will be making his NHL debut because John Gibson and Chad Johnson are both injured.

Miller is expected to miss six weeks with a sprained MCL.

Miller was hurt against the Devils on Sunday and will be re-evaluated in two weeks. The Ducks are expecting Miller to miss six weeks, so they’ve claimed Chad Johnson off of waivers from the Blues. This injury shouldn’t affect the Ducks too much, John Gibson has started 78 percent of their games so far.
