Spooner recently returned to the Bruins’ lineup but he was absent from Saturday’s practice, which has clouded his status for Sunday’s game vs. the Oilers. Spooner has one assist in two games while averaging just 10:32 TOI/GM since returning to the lineup, but he may not be available for Sunday’s contest.

Spooner is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a right groin adductor tear.

Spooner suffered the injury in Vegas on Sunday and will miss at least one month. Luckily for the Bruins, it looks like Patrice Bergeron and David Backes are going to be back soon, maybe even on Thursday.

Spooner left Sunday’s game with a lower-body injury and did not return.

Spooner suffered the injury just two shifts into the second period and finished the contest with just 6:42 TOI. Spooner was replaced by Danton Heinen on the Bruins top power-play unit, so look for that to potential continue if Spooner is forced to miss any time.

Spooner (concussion) will not play on Saturday.

Spooner will miss his second straight game with a concussion that he suffered on Monday. With Spooner out, Drew Stafford is expected to remain in the Bruins top-6 going forward.

Spooner will draw back into the Bruins lineup on Saturday.

Spooner was a healthy scratch on Thursday, but he will play tonight vs. the Canadiens. Spooner is expected to skate on the Bruins’ second line with David Krejci and David Backes. Danton Heinen will sit to make room for Spooner.

With Patrice Bergeron set to come back into the lineup, Spooner will be scratched after a disappointing start to the season. He saw his playing time drop under 11 minutes on Monday, so Claude Julien is obviously trying to send a message to his young forward.

Spooner (illness) returns to the Bruins lineup on Monday.

Spooner missed Saturday’s game in Dallas with an illness, but he will play tonight vs. the Blue Jackets. Spooner has one goal and two assists since the All-Star break and unsurprisingly has seen his point production slip since David Krejci returned to the lineup.
