Tverberg will remain a member of the Toronto Maple Leafs organization for a fourth straight season after the forward signed a one-year, two-way contract on Sunday. With Toronto's season over, they are trying new faces in the lineup on Monday as Ryan Tverberg is expected to make his NHL debut, replacing Michael Pezzetta. The 2020 seventh-round pick will join the Toronto Marlies for the remainder of the season on a professional tryout, so this contract doesn't kick in until 2023-24. Tverberg had 30 points (15G / 15A) in 35 games with the University of Connecticut this season.
