Morin will miss two weeks with an undisclosed injury.

With Shayne Gostisbehere (upper-body) out, it looked like Samuel Morin was finally going to get his chance, but it looks like he’ll have to wait a little longer. Morin was never officially recalled and will now miss at least a couple of weeks and will likely return at the AHL level.

Morin (undisclosed) is questionable for Monday’s game vs. Arizona.

Morin, 22, was recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL) and was expected to make his season debut on Monday with Shayne Gostisbehere out, but that may not be the case now. Morin is reportedly dealing with a “nagging” injury and may not be available vs. the Coyotes. If Morin can’t go, look for Mark Alt to be recalled from the AHL.
