Goalie Jose Theodore, who has been nursing a lingering knee injury on and off since Jan. 1, will suit up for tomorrow’s home clash against the Kings but will back up Scott Clemmensen most likely for one more game before playing in one of the weekend back-to-back sets against New Jersey and the Isles.

Clemmensen lost his only career start against the Kings, allowing three goals on 32 shots.

Kevin Dineen made it clear that rookie Jacob Markstrom will back up Scott Clemmensen for the road trip to New York. It’s highly likely that Markstrom will start in one of the two back-to-back games vs. the Rangers and Devils.

In 11 career appearances against the Rangers, Clemmensen has a 3-4-1 record with a 2.74 GAA, .908 SV% and one shutout.
