After a remarkable 31-2-7 start to the season, the Avalanche, for the first time, have gone two games without a point (0-2-0), and hope for a strong performance from Wedgewood to help end their mini-slump. The 33-year-old Wedgewood has been excellent all season, but has shown signs of being human over the past two weeks, allowing three or more goals in four of five games (2-2-0), posting a .876 SV%. He has a 2.20 GAA and .917 SV% in 27 games this season (18-3-4). The Avalanche enter Tuesday's contest as sizable -257 home favorites against an Ottawa Senators team that has lost five of their last seven games (2-4-1).
