Bobrovsky gets both starts of the back-to-back.

Bobrovsky allowed one goal on 29 shots in a 2-1 win over the Maple Leafs last night. Bob has now won two in a row while allowing four goals on 49 shots (.918 SV%). Tonight, he gets the call against the Stars at Nationwide Arena. Bobrovsky is 13-6-0 with a 2.27 GAA and .922 SV% at home.

Bobrovsky allowed three goals on 20 shots in a 6-3 win over the Panthers on Saturday. It was a good bounce-back performance after a disappointing loss to the Devils on Thursday. Tonight, he gets the nod between the pipes in Toronto. Bob is 2-0-0 with a 1.00 GAA and .953 SV% against the Maple Leafs this season.

Bobrovsky surrendered four goals on 34 shots in 5-2 loss to the Devils on Thursday. Bob put the Jackets in a hole early, allowing three goals 8:54 into the first period. He will look to get back on track this afternoon vs. the Panthers. He stopped 35 of 36 shots in a 4-1 win against Florida on February 2.

Bobrovsky starts for Russia.

Bobrovsky stopped 31 shots during regulation and overtime in a 3-2 shootout loss to the United States on Saturday, his first start of the 2014 Sochi Olympics. Despite Semyon Varlamov posting a shutout on Sunday, it will be Bob who gets the call vs. Norway in Tuesday's elimination game. Russia will take on Finland on Wednesday if they get by Norway this morning.

Bobrovsky gets the nod vs. Team USA.

After sitting in the tournament opener, Russia will turn to Bobrovsky over Semyon Varlamov in much more difficult matchup vs. the Americans. Today will be Bobrovsky's first start in the Olympics and it comes in a huge matchup. The winner of Saturday's game assumes control of Group A as the preliminary round winds down, and will head into the quarterfinal round in the driver's seat. Bob won 11 of 15 coming into the Olympics and sits at 20-14-3 with a 2.52 GAA and .918 SV% with Columbus.

Bobrovsky said that Team Russia has not discussed who will start on Thursday vs. Slovenia.

The expectation is that Semyon Varlamov will be Russia's starter because of more experienced international resume, but Bobrovsky made a great case for himself in the last month leading up to Sochi. Over the last 30 days, Bob has won nine of 13 starts while posting a 2.17 GAA and .931 SV%. In contrast, Varly has won eight of 12 games with a 2.79 GAA and .919 SV%.

Bobrovsky allowed one goal on 36 shots in a win over the Panthers on Saturday. Bob has been great since returning to the Blue Jackets crease. He has won nine of 11 while posting a 2.18 GAA and .931 SV%. He has a tough matchup tonight, but the way he is rolling right now, I wouldn't be overly concerned.

He posted an 8-2-0 record with a 2.31 GAA and .926 SV% in 10 starts. He is starting to look more like the Bobrovsky of 2012-13, which is great news for the Blue Jackets and his fantasy investors.

He has won six straight starts while position a 1.95 GAA and .938 SV%. He will face a Flyers team coming off of two straight losses including one last night vs. Carolina.
