Sergei Bobrovsky News

Bobrovsky starts for the Blue Jackets.

Bobrovsky gave up three goals on 31 shots in his second straight OT loss on Thursday. He was given Friday night off, so he should be well rested and ready to bounce back on Sunday against the Senators. With Marian Gaborik sidelined for at least a month, things just got even more difficult for Goalie Bob. He is not as reliable as he was in 2012-13.

All signs are pointing towards Bobrovsky starting Thursday, but no confirmation.

Bobrovsky gave up four goals on 34 shots in an overtime loss to the Capitals on Tuesday. Bobrovsky has lost four of his last five starts and will be in tough Thursday when Columbus takes on the Bruins. His 2.84 GAA and .909 SV% do not have the look of a Vezina Trophy winner.

Sergei Bobrovsky in the home net this morning. He starts against Cory Schneider.

Bobrovsky enters play tonight having lost each of his last four starts. He had a rough fantasy week last week - winning none of his three starts while posting a 3.37 GAA and .906 SV%. He has a good matchup vs. the 1-4-3 Devils who rank 24th in the NHL in scoring.

Bobrovsky will start tomorrow.

Bobrovsky turned aside 30 of 32 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Red Wings on Tuesday. Goalie Bob was good once again, but the Blue Jackets had a difficult time against the Red Wings and Jonas Gustavsson. This will likely happen a lot from him this season, good numbers but not a lot of wins. He has a fairly tough matchup against the Habs tomorrow.

Bobrovsky starts his fourth straight this afternoon.

Bobrovsky won each of his last two starts, vs. the Islanders and Sabres. His GAA has dropped to 2.28 and SV% up to .920. The Blue Jackets welcome the Bruins to town this afternoon, which usually is not a good matchup. However the were shutout by J.S Giguere on Thursday, so feel free to roll the dice with Bob.
