Bobrovsky missed Tuesday’s game vs. the Golden Knights with an illness but is good to backup on Thursday. Korpisalo was great against Vegas so he has been rewarded with a second straight start and it gives Bobrovsky an extra days rest prior to tomorrow’s projected start vs. the Red Wings.

Bobrovsky will not dress against Vegas tonight, so Joonas Korpisalo will get the start and Jeff Zatkoff is up from Cleveland (AHL) to back him up. Bobrovsky is day-to-day and should be ready for either Thursday vs. the Avalanche or Friday vs. the Red Wings.

Bobrovsky was beat five times on just 23 shots in Sunday’s 5-2 loss to the Penguins. It was the sixth time this season that Bobrovsky had given up five or more goals in a start. He’ll look to get back on track tonight against a mediocre Devils team.

That makes back-to-back strong performances for Bobrovsky, who was fresh off a 34-save effort in the Jackets’ 6-1 win over the Devils. He’s poised to keep it going in a favourable matchup tonight against the Flyers.
