Weber left Tuesday night's 4-3 win at Winnipeg 3:28 into the third period and did not return. The Predators took Wednesday off, and Weber was not seen in the locker room after practice Thursday. The Predators will leave his status as day-to-day an reevaluate him on Friday.

Weber had recorded his 23rd assist earlier in the contest, but retired to the dressing room after playing just 17:45 (averages 26:43). There is no word on the nature or severity of Weber's injury, but we should get an update today. “Today was a good day,” said Weber, who suffered the injury in a 3-0 loss to Edmonton on Thanksgiving night. “It was good to be back out there with the guys and skate with them and hopefully move forward going ahead this week.” Weber’s playing status will be determined this morning, coach Barry Trotz said. “When he gets up in the morning and we can do our meetings and all, I’m sure I’ll know at that point,” he said.
