Knight was excellent in his most recent outing, saving all 34 shots he faced in a 3-0 win over the Anaheim Ducks for his second shutout of the season. He has a 2.45 GAA and .905 SV% in 18 appearances this season (9-6-1). The Panthers enter Wednesday's contest as slight +102 road underdogs against the Kings.


On the tail end of a back-to-back, the Panthers will turn to Knight between the pipes on Tuesday against the New Jersey Devils. Knight has only played once in the previous seven game but was stellar in that outing, saving 29 of 31 shots (.935 SV%) in a 3-2 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins. The 23-year-old Knight has a 2.80 GAA and .891 SV% in 15 appearances this season (7-6-1).

Knight went 2-2-1 with a 3.80 GAA and .846 SV% in five games in December. Knight will look to put a tough month of December behind him, as he starts January with a decent matchup vs. the Penguins. The 23-year-old Knight has been serviceable most of the season, posting a 2.60 GAA and .896 SV% and one shutout in 10 appearances (4-4-1).
