Noesen missed the entire preseason, and head coach Sheldon Keefe did not have an update on his status, but did say he's "not close to being ready to play." Expect Noesen to open the season on IR.

Devils' head coach Sheldon Keefe said that Noesen is progressing, but is not expected to see any preseason action. With Noesen injured, rookie Arseny Gritsyuk is likely to make the Devils roster out of training camp. At this point, consider Noesen doubtful to be ready for New Jersey's season opener on October 9th.

Noesen was not on the ice when the Devils opened training camp on Thursday, and he is expected to miss some time with a groin injury. It's unclear if Noesen, who is coming off of a career-best 22 goals and 41 points, will be ready for the season opener.

Entering their final game of the regular season, the Devils will rest several key players, including Noesen, in preparation of their first-round playoff series against the Carolina Hurricanes. The 32-year-old Noesen ends the 2024-25 campaign with a career-high 41 points (22G / 19A) in 78 games.

Noesen did not play New Jersey's previous game, but he will re-enter the lineup on Tuesday against the Boston Bruins. The 32-year-old Plano, Texas native has a career-high 40 points (21G / 19A) in 77 games this season.

Noesen has missed the last two games with an illness, but will play Saturday afternoon vs. the Flyers. Noesen comes into the game with four goals, two assists and 28 SOG in his last 12 games.

Noesen did not play in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the Florida Panthers and will likely not play on Thursday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 31-year-old Noesen is far-and-away having his best offensive season, scoring 28 points (17G / 11A) in 45 games.

Noesen was a surprise scratch on Tuesday, with the Devils not announcing his absence prior to warmups. The 31-year-old forward is in the midst of a breakout campaign, notching 17 goals and 11 assists in 45 games this season.

Noesen will join Martin Necas (upper-body) on the sidelines for this one as the Hurricanes will be forced to dress 11 forwards and seven defensemen. Noesen has ten goals and 13 assists in 38 games this season.

Noesen has eight goals, 20 points, 75 SOG, 17 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus through 37 games with the Hurricanes but will miss his first contest of the year Thursday as he deals with a lower-body injury. He is considered day-to-day for the time being.

With a bunch of Hurricanes forwards in COVID-19 protocol, Noesen is set up to make his Hurricanes debut on Thursday. The 28-year-old veteran has 54 points (31G / 23A) in 205 career NHL games with the Ducks, Devils, Penguins, Sharks and Maple Leafs.
