T.J. Oshie News

Oshie will not play on Thursday and has been diagnosed with a concussion.

There is no word on when Oshie may have suffered the concussion, but it will keep him sidelined for at least tonight. Concussions are a tough injury to put a timetable on, so consider him day-to-day and likely to miss a couple of games.

Oshie (head) will not play in Game 1 on Thursday.

Oshie missed the final two games of the regular season with a head injury that he suffered on a hit by Mike Rupp last Thursday. He skated in the Blues' morning skate, but will be held out of game 1. He is expected to return at some point in the first round.

Oshie (head) does not know if he will be ready for game 1 on Thursday.

Oshie skated again on Tuesday and said he is feeling better. Blues' head coach Ken Hitchcock said that all of his injured players will be back at some point in round 1, but Oshie might not be ready for game 1. "You've got to see how I am tonight, how I am tomorrow morning," said Oshie. "It really is a day to day thing. If I can, if medically it's OK and I'm not going to hurt myself worse, or hurt my team, I'll be in."

Oshie left Thursday's game with an apparent head injury and did not return.

Oshie was elbowed in the head by Wild tough-guy Mike Rupp. Oshie went down and took awhile to get to his feet. Rupp was assessed a match-penalty and will have a phone hearing Friday. The Blues are already without David Backes, so losing Oshie right before the playoffs would put a huge dent in their lineup. Consider him day-to-day until we get a more detailed report of his injury.

Oshie (knee) appears to be playing tonight in Calgary.

Oshie is on the ice for the Blues' morning skate and is skating on his regular line, which suggests he will play tonight. Oshie's status was in question after a collision with Taylor Hall on Tuesday was causing some discomfort in his knee. Oshie has 37 points (8G / 29A) in 42 games this season.

Oshie is day-to-day with a knee injury.

Oshie left Tuesday's game following a collision with Taylor Hall, he did not return. The Blues are back in action on Thursday so monitor Oshie's status during the morning skate. They are already without Alex Steen, so if Oshie can't play they will be missing two-thirds of their top-line.
