The Avlanahce have signed T.J. Tynan to a one-year contract.

After appearing in nine games for Colorado in 2024-25, T.J. Tynan has signed a one-year contract extension to remain with the Avalanche and provide some depth at forward. The 33-year-old picked up just one assist during his short stint with the Avalanche last season but impressed with the Colorado Eagles (AHL), picking up eight goals and 49 points in 52 games played.

Tynan made his season debut on Wednesday, his first NHL game since the 2021-22 season, recording a -1 plus/minus in 8:36 time-on-ice. The 32-year-old Tynan has spent most of his career in the AHL and has four points (0G / 4A) in six games with the Colorado Eagles (AHL) this season.

Tynan has been recalled from the Eagles (AHL) as a result of a Miles Wood (undisclosed) injury that will prevent him from playing on Wednesday night. The 32-year-old Tynan has 21 games of NHL experience but has not played in the NHL since a two-game stint with the Los Angeles Kings in the 2021-22 season. Tynan has four points (0G / 4A) in six games with the Eagles this season.

The Blue Jackets have recalled T.J. Tynan from Cleveland (AHL).

Tynan, 25, was a third round pick (No.66 overall) in 2011 and he is expected to make his NHL debut on Monday. Tynan was recalled because Josh Anderson is out with a knee injury. He has registered seven goals and 23 assists (30 points) in 55 games with Cleveland this season.
