Wingels recently saw a bump in playing time in Chicago, but has just 12 points (7G / 5A) in 57 games this season. He will likely have a hard time finding playing time on a talented Bruins roster.

The Blackhawks have inked Tommy Wingels to a one-year contract.
With a lot of high priced forwards at the top of their lineup the Blackhawks needed to fill out their roster with some value contracts and that’s what Wingels provides. Wingels hasn’t posted good numbers in the last few seasons, but has posted great numbers at lower levels and earlier in his NHL career, making him a low-risk/high-reward signing for Chicago.
Wingels (undisclosed) will be in the Senators' lineup on Tuesday.
