Lewis (upper-body) has been placed on IR, retro active to October 8th.

Lewis has missed the last three games with an upper-body injury and has yet to resume skating. The retroactive move means Lewis can play whenever he returns to full health, but for now he goes on IR to allow the Kings to recall a forward after finding out Marian Gaborik is out on Tuesday.

The Kings announced that they have signed forward Trevor Lewis, who had been a restricted free agent, to a two-year contract worth a total of $1.45 million ($725,000 salary-cap hit per season).

Although a first round pick of the Kings back in 2006, Lewis's is used mostly as a penalty killer.
