Jarry will start Saturday vs. the Red Wings.

Jarry was pulled after surrendering five goals on 19 shots in the Penguins loss to the Bruins last Sunday. With Matt Murray dealing with a family matter, Jarry will make his third consecutive start this afternoon. Jarry is 4-2-0 with a 3.16 GAA and .893 SV% on home ice this season and he will host a Red Wings team that won four of five prior to their bye week.

Jarry stopped 16 of 17 shots before leaving Tuesday’s game in Philadelphia with an undisclosed injury. Despite leaving the game, Jarry was back on the ice on Thursday and backed up Matt Murray. Jarry will start the tail-end of the back-to-back and has a nice matchup against an Islanders team that has lost four straight and 11 of their last 15 (4-9-2).

Jarry allowed two goals on 33 shots in the Penguins loss in Carolina last Friday. Matt Murray returned to the crease in Detroit on Sunday, but the Penguins will give Jarry another look tonight in Philadelphia. The young netminder faced the Flyers earlier this season, stopping eight of 10 shots in a relief in a 5-4 OT win.

After winning his first four games with Matt Murray out, Jarry has now lost two of his last three while allowing 10 goals on 71 shots (.859 SV%). Tonight he will face an Avalanche team that has lost six of their last eight (2-5-1).

He will take on a Maple Leafs team that has won three of their last four contests.

Jarry allowed four goals on 29 shots in the Penguins loss to the Rangers on Tuesday. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for Jarry, who will start again tonight vs. the Islanders. He will be in tough as the Isles come in averaging the second most goals per game in the NHL (3.66 GF/PG).

With Murray out week-to-week, Jarry suddenly becomes their No.1 netminder and will start tonight in Buffalo. The 22-year-old enters Buffalo at 2-0-2 with a 2.83 GAA and .907 SV% in four appearances this season.

Jarry stopped 32 of 34 shots in the Penguins loss in Calgary on November 2nd. It was a strong season debut for Jarry, who was 3-2-0 with a 3.18 GAA and .897 SV% in the AHL before his call-up. With Matt Murray starting last night, the 22-year-old is expected to start tonight in Nashville.
