Tyler Benson will make his season debut Wednesday vs. Chicago.
Benson had two assists and two PIMs in three games with the Bakersfield Condors (AHL) prior to his callup to the Oilers. The 24-year-old will be making his season debut after Klim Kostin was announced out due to visa issues. In 36 career NHL games played, he has one goal and two assists with a -6 plus/minus.

Benson appeared in 29 games with the Oilers last season, scoring one goal with one assist. He started 2023 in the AHL on a conditioning stint, where he's picked up two assists in three games, since returning from a pre-season knee injury.

Benson was a second-round pick in 2016 and among the Oilers' top prospects. The 21-year-old winger had a great season going with Bakersfield (AHL), posting 35 points (9G / 26A) in 42 games before being called-up. Benson will make his NHL debut on the fourth line with Gaetan Haas and Alex Chiasson.
