After appearing in just nine games with Boston in 2024-25, Tyler Johnson has announced his retirement from professional hockey after 13 NHL seasons with three different organizations (TBL,CHI,BOS). The 34-year-old came into the league strong in 2013-14, earning himself all-rookie honours in his first full NHL season. His career is highlighted by his two Stanley Cup victories with Tampa Bay. In 747 career games played, the forward had 193 goals, 433 points and 250 PIMs.
