The Maple Leafs signed Vinni Lettieri to a one-year deal worth $775K.

Vinni Lettieri will join his third NHL team in three years after signing a one-year, $775,000 contract with Toronto on Wednesday. The 30-year-old forward is expected to compete for a bottom-six spot in training camp after putting up three goals and five points in 26 games with Boston in 2024-25.

Lettieri has been reassigned to Providence (AHL).

With Mark Kastelic returning to the lineup from an undisclosed injury, Lettieri has been reassigned to the Providence Bruins (AHL). The 29-year-old Lettieri has been excellent at the AHL level this season, scoring 35 points (14G / 21A) in 35 games with Providence.

Lettieri suffered a lower-body injury on December 30th and has been out of the lineup since. He has been on the injured reserve for 15 games and will likely return to the lineup on Wednesday. In 19 games with Minnesota, Lettieri has four points (3G / 1A), 26 shots, and 21 hits.

Lettieri played on 7:04 time-on-ice on Saturday, suffering a lower-body injury, and did not play on Sunday. He has now been placed on IR and will miss at least one week. In 19 games with Minnesota, Lettieri has four points (3G / 1A), 26 shots, and 21 hits.

Lettieri had four goals, eight point and four PIMs in 10 games with Iowa (AHL) and has been called up back to Minnesota where he has spent most of this season. The 28-year-old is in his sixth NHL season and has two goals, an assist, four PIMs, 15 SOG and a -3 plus/minus in 13 games played.

Lettieri has seen his ice-time plummet, including several healthy scratches since John Hynes has taken over as the head coach of the Minnesota Wild. Before the coaching change, Lettieri averaged 11:04 time-on-ice, nearly two and a half minutes more than the 8:48 he has averaged since. In a corresponding move, Minnesota has recalled Dakota Mermis from Iowa (AHL).
