Ilya Solovyov will draw back into Colorado's lineup on Friday against the Vegas Golden Knights, sending Aamodt to the sidelines as a healthy scratch. The 27-year-old Aamdodt recently made his NHL debut. He has one goal in two games.

With the end of Colorado's regular season, Wyatt Aamodt has been returned to the Colorado Eagles (AHL) after a short, two-game showing over the weekend. The 27-year-old undrafted free agent picked up the first goal of his career in only his second game on Sunday vs. Anaheim and will look to take his newfound scoring touch into the AHL playoffs.

Aamodt is an undrafted 27-year-old defenseman that has yet to play an NHL game. He has spent most of the previous four seasons in the AHL, including scoring 16 points (3G / 13A) in 2024-25 through 66 games with the Colorado Eagles.

Aarnodt will return to Colorado for a third season after he signed a one-year, two-way contract extension on Tuesday. The 26-year-old undrafted defenseman joined Colorado from Minnesota State University (Mankato) in 2021-22 and had six goals and 14 points in 60 games played in 2023-24 with the Eagles (AHL).

Aamodt had three goals, 15 assists, 39 PIMs and a +5 plus/minus through 52 games played with the Colorado Eagles (AHL) in 2022-23 and has signed a one-year, two-way contract extension on Tuesday. The 25-year-old was signed as a free agent out of college in 2022 and will hope to grow off a strong first full AHL season.

Aamodt wis an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota State U - Mankato. The 24-year-old scored six goals with six assists (12 points) in 41 games this season. He's expected to report to the Colorado Eagles (AHL).
