Bogosian (lower-body) will make his season debut on Tuesday.

Bogosian will make his season debut tonight. Not the best matchup for a defenseman who missed the start of the season with a lower-body injury. The 25-year-old played an obscenely high 26:34 TOI with 2:32 coming on the power-play after being acquired by the Sabres last season. Bogosian had seven assists in 21 games with Buffalo and 20 points (3G / 10A) in 62 games overall. He is mobile for a big blueliner who possesses a heavy shot—30 points is not out of the realm of possibility.

Bogosian is expected to play this week and it could be as soon as Tuesday. Bogosian has yet to play this season because of a lower-body injury but has been practicing and is definitely close to play. The 25-year-old had seven assists while averaging 26:34 in 21 games with the Sabres last season.

Bogosian (lower-body) returned to practice on Friday.

Bogosian has missed the first 16 games of the season with a lower-body injury but returned to practice on Friday. Bogosian’s return suggests that Bogosian is nearing a return to the lineup. The Sabres are 8-8-0 so far this season, so getting Bogosian back could push them over the .500 hump.

Bogosian (undisclosed) is listed as week-to-week and could miss the season opener.

Bogosian has had an incredibly difficult time staying healthy throughout his career. He missed 20 games last season and a combined 96 games over the last three seasons. He played massive minutes (26:34 TOI/GM) with the Sabres last year and is expected to be leaned o heavily this year. His absence means the Sabres will lead to increased roles for the likes of Rasmus Ristolainen and Cody Franson.

Bogosian (undisclosed) is not on the ice for the Sabres morning skate.

Bogosian missed Saturday’s game, but coach Ted Nolan though Bogosian might be available for tonight’s game. His absence from the morning skate certainly clouds his status, but we will get an official word from coach Nolan this afternoon.

The Jets have reportedly traded Zach Bogosian, Evander Kane, and Jason Kasdorf to the Sabres for Tyler Myers, Drew Stafford, Joel Armia, Brendan Lemieux and a 1st round pick.

Bogosian, 24, was the third overall pick in 2008, but has had a hard time staying healthy early in his career. Bogosian has mixed 15 games this season and a total of 74 games (27.6% of games) since 2011-12. Injuries have slowed down his development, but the young blue liner has 13 points (3G / 10A) in 41 games this season. A change of scenery should help Bogosian, especially because he should play a massive role in Buffalo.

Bogosian (lower-body) is officially back in the Jets lineup tonight.

Bogosian, who has missed the last 14 games, will be back in the lineup tonight vs. Arizona. He will be paired with Jay Harrison for the first time this season. Harrison was acquired while Bogosian was on IR. Bogo has eight assists in 25 games.

Bogosian (lower-body) will travel on the Jets’ upcoming road-trip.

Bogosian will travel with the team on their three-game road-trip that starts on Thursday in Arizona. There is a possibility that Bogosian returns to the lineup on that trip but that is not a sure thing. Expect him to take on massive minutes when he gets back on the blue line.

Bogosian is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with a lower-body injury.

Bogosian suffered the injury while blocking a shot in the Jets OT win over the Oilers on Wednesday night. The Jets will also be without Tobias Enstrom for the rest of the month, so this will be a huge test for their blue line. Bogosian is out until the New Year at least, could be sidelined until mid-January. Expect a call-up from St. John’s.

Bogosian (upper-body) did not skate at the Jets morning skate, appears he will miss a second straight game.

Bogosian, who was injured on Saturday, missed Monday's game and it looks like he will not be available again tonight in San Jose. Not taking part in the game-day skate is usually a pretty good indicator that he won't be in the lineup.
