Parise is out indefinitely with an upper-body injury; will not travel to Dallas.

There were reports that Parise will miss an extended period time, but the Wild confirmed that he will not travel to Dallas for Game 1 or 2 of their first round series with the Stars. With Parise out, Jason Zucker will play on the top line and Chris Porter will move into the top 6.

Parise (back) is not expected to be in the Wild’s lineup anytime soon.

Parise was diagnosed with a herniated disk that was pressing on a nerve in January and aggravated the injury last week. Parise was listed as day-to-day on Monday, but it’s looking more like he will miss a few games or even the entire first round with a debilitating back injury.

Parise (undisclosed) miss Monday’s practice; questionable for Game 1.

Parise missed the Wild’s season finale on Saturday as well as today’s practice, so his status for Game 1 remains up in the air. The Wild have another practice on Wednesday, if he isn’t there for that session then he is likely to miss game 1 of the playoffs. Monitor his progress as the week continues.

Parise (maintenance) is not expected to be in the lineup on Saturday.

Parise missed Friday’s practice and is not expected to be in the lineup in the season finale. With the Wild locked into the playoffs, there is no reason to risk an injury to their top forward. Jason Zucker will take his spot on the top line.

Parise (knee) has been activated from IR and is expected to play on Friday.

Parise, who missed the past eight games with a sprained knee ligament, was taken off injured reserve this morning. That should pave the way for his return this afternoon (3 p.m.) against the Winnipeg Jets. Parise, the team's leading goal scorer with seven when injured Nov. 5, took part in morning skates Saturday and Wednesday but practiced for the first time yesterday. He is expected to replace Christoph Bertschy in the lineup.
