McIntyre came up to serve as Thatcher Demko's backup while Jacob Markstrom was away from the team on a personal leave. McIntyre returns to the AHL, where he was 2-0-0 with .903 SV% before leaving.

McIntyre has been called up on emergency basis because Tuukka Rask has been placed on IR. McIntyre will serve as Jaroslav Halak backup for at least one game (Tuesday) after going 16-8-0 with a 2.74 GAA and .887 SV% in 27 AHL games.

The Bruins have recalled Zane McIntyre from Providence (AHL) under emergency conditions.
McIntyre was brought up to backup Tuukka Rask on Monday and it looks like that will be the case again on Monday.

McIntyre, 25, has gone 4-1-0 with a 1.81 GAA and .928 SV% in five starts with Providence this season. He was up with Boston to backup Anton Khudobin while Tuukka Rask was out, but now he will backup Rask with Khudobin staying in Boston for Monday’s game.

McIntyre will come up from Providence (AHL) and backup Anton Khudobin on Thursday.
With Tuukka Rask (undisclosed) out, McIntyre has been recalled to backup Anton Khudobin on Thursday. McIntyre has gone 2-1-0 with a 2.35 GAA and .914 SV% in three starts with the Providence Bruins so far this season.

Despite his struggles at the NHL level, McIntyre has gone 10-0-0 with a 1.41 GAA and .951 SV% with Providence (AHL). He could make for a decent spot-start if you’re desperate.

McIntyre allowed five goals on 31 shots in the Bruins loss in New York on October 26th. Tuukka Rask started the last five games, but he will get the night off on the second of a back-to-back. McIntyre, who has a .854 SV% in two starts, will be in deep water on the road versus Carey Price.

McIntyre will start Wednesday vs. the Rangers.
McIntyre stopped 15 of 17 shots after replacing Malcolm Subban in the Bruins’ 5-0 loss to the Wild last night. It was a fairly impressive relief effort for McIntyre, who will make his first career NHL start tonight. McIntyre draws a rough matchup against the 4-2-0 Rangers, who will start Henrik Lundqvist tonight.
