PointsBet Daily Bets: Oilers/Canucks & Hurricanes/Flyers Puckline

Tyler Yaremchuk joined Frank Seravalli and Mike McKenna on Friday’s edition of Daily Faceoff Live for another PointsBet Daily Bets segment.

11 games on the slate tonight. Yaremchuk provides you with all your betting and odds needs for tonight’s matchups between the Vancouver Canucks vs Edmonton Oilers, Carolina Hurricanes vs Philadelphia Flyers and Colorado Avalanche vs Nashville Predators

Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada.  I got four picked out for tonight’s NHL slate. Starting with that matchup between the Edmonton Oilers and Vancouver Canucks. The Oilers on the Puckline at +110. They had an impressive Puckline covering against the Dallas Stars earlier in the week and they’re back at home tonight taking on a Vancouver team that is playing their second game in as many nights. We know Elias Pettersson had a big game for them against the Kraken last night. Tonight, they’re expected to start Colin Delia between the pipes and he only has one NHL game under his belt this season. I think this is a great spot to take the Oilers’ Puckline.

I also love taking the Carolina Hurricanes on the Puckline as well. This team has been unbelievable as of late, and Pyotr Kochetkov is having a great season and he’s one of the most loveable personalities in the NHL as well. If you want a viral moment, it came a couple of days ago during his post-game press conference. I like the Canes’ to cover the line against the Philadelphia Flyers tonight. As a safety net, I’m also going to parlay these two on the Moneyline as well, it pays out -110. For my third play, I’m looking at the Colorado game.  I don’t think the line is set right though. Are the Avalanche at -120 favourites? They’re a really good hockey team even without Nathan MacKinnon. Rantanen has been producing at an unbelievable clip and they beat the Preds just a few days ago. Alexander Georgiev has been playing unreal between the pipes for the Avs and yes the Preds have won, but they were on a long losing streak and the last win they had was against the Blackhawks. I love taking the Avalanche at 120 on the Moneyline.
