Tyler Yaremchuk: Let’s jump right into it courtesy of our friends at PointsBet Canada. I got three games I am targeting on tonight’s slate starting with the Seattle Kraken and Edmonton Oilers. I’m getting a little greedy here, I don’t mind taking the Oilers on the Puckline and I think the public is agreeing with me because the line is starting to shift a little bit. The highest I saw it was at -165 earlier this morning and Edmonton played really well against Seattle just under a week ago, blowing them out. Now, they’re back at home and they could also have Leon Draisaitl in the lineup as well. I love taking the Oilers to once again beat the Kraken by two or more.
In the second matchup, we got the Dallas Stars. Again; earlier this morning this was set at -120, -125 and now it’s starting to shift toward Dallas and I still think there’s value on them. They’ve been getting some great goaltending, they’ve got seven wins in their last 10 and they’ve won four in a row. I like them to beat the L.A. Kings who are playing good hockey as well but for that price, I will take the Stars all day.
Finally, to wrap things up, you were talking about Connor Bedard earlier and one team that is certainly in the hunt for him is the Chicago Blackhawks. They’re terrible, they’ve won once in their last 10 games and the Tampa Bay Lightning are playing decent hockey right now, now eight wins in their last 10 games. The payout though is not great and the needle is moving toward Tampa so I’d probably jump on this as quickly as you can. But, I love the Lightning on the Puckline at -140. So two Puckline spots in Tampa and Edmonton, and the Dallas Stars on the Moneyline.
