<p>The San Jose Sharks will be without F Tomas Hertl for the remainder of the year after he suffered a torn ACL and MCL, the team announced Thursday.</p>

<p>The forward went down early in a Wednesday night game against the Vancouver Canucks after a collision that saw his lower body get pinned against the boards.</p>
<p>Hertl, 26, skated only 1:10 in the game but managed to score the goal’s opening game.</p>
<p>This season, Hertl has scored 16 goals and another 20 assists in 48 games this season. Hertl represented the Sharks in the 2020 all-star game last weekend.</p>
