Senators’ Pascal Leclaire out of the lineup

Update 10/15/10 @ 12:02 PM: Don Brennan of the Ottawa Sun is reporting that Leclaire was “nowhere to be seen” at today’s morning skate.  His lower-body injury is related to his right leg, which he injured on the first shot of the game. The Senators are expected to recall Robin Lehner from their AHL affiliate in Binghamton, Brian Elliott will start this weekend.

After lasting just two minutes into the first period of Thursday’s game, goaltender Pascal Leclaire left the ice with what the team is calling a lower-body injury and will not return.

Leclaire appeared to be injured when he was involved in a collision with Carolina Hurricane winger Tom Kostopoulos.  Brian Elliott replaced Leclaire in net.

Leclaire is 0-2-1 this season with a .900 SV% and a 3.28 GAA.
