Notable lineup happenings from around the NHL:

Ales Hemsky is out for the Oilers after being cross-checked from behind by Handzus against LA. There are rumblings that he could require surgery and be out for the season. We will keep you up to date on the situation. Oilers Lines

Milan Lucic owners can rest easy, he’s only out of the lineup for a month with a high-ankle sprain.  Bruins Lines

Wade Redden is out with an arm injury and rookie Bobby Sanguinetti will take his place.  Rangers Lines

Carl Gunnarsson is a gametime decision for the Leafs with an illness.  Leafs Lines

Danny Briere is still out for the Flyers with a suspension.  Flyers Lines

As reported earlier, Alexandre Giroux has been recalled by Washington and is skating with Ovechkin and Backstrom.  Caps Lines

Since I’ll probably forget tomorrow, Erik Karlsson has been called up to replace the demoted Brian Lee.  Anton Volchenkov could start but he’s essentially ruled himself out for tomorrow night.  Sens Lines
