Ovechkin

Tomas Vokoun is DTD after leaving the game on a stretcher and receiving stitches in his ear following arguably the most bizarre play of the season. After a cheap goal by Ilya Kovalchuk, Keith Ballard tried to two-hand the post in frustration but instead caught a piece of Vokoun’s head.

Alex Ovechkin suffered an injury after going knee-to-knee with ‘Canes defenceman Tim Gleason last night. We are still awaiting word as to the extent of the injury.

Rusty Klesla is out 4-6 weeks after tearing his groin on a hit from Blues defenceman Barret Jackman. Mathieu Roy has been called up to replace him. Blue Jackets Lineup

Jeff Finger is back in the lineup in place of the injured Carl Gunnarsson.  Leafs Lineup

Nikolai Khabibulin did not join the Oilers on the first leg of their upcoming road trip and does not appear to be any closer to returning. I would not turn to Jeff Deslauriers for fantasy relief.
