Flames

Hurricanes

Drayson Bowman called up, Jerome Samson sent down.

Blue Jackets

RJ Umberger, Antoine Vermette and Rick Nash make up the top line.

Rangers

Chris Higgins demoted to the fourth line, at least for today’s practice.  Click on the logo to see the updated combinations.  Donald Brashear not at practice.

Senators

Daniel Alfredsson skating on the top line in practice with Nick Foligno and Mike Fisher.  See lines to the left for the full practice rushing combinations.

Filip Kuba also could return tomorrow.

According to reports, Pascal Leclaire broke his jaw yesterday thanks to a Mike Fisher shot.


Flyers

Darroll Powe fine after leaving last night’s game early.

Penguins

Brent Johnson placed on IR retroactive to Saturday.

Marc Andre Fleury listed as day-to-day with a fractured finger.  The Penguins official site reports the injury initially occurred during last night’s game with the Oilers.


Maple Leafs

Rickard Wallin, Jeff Finger and Jonas Gustavsson the only skaters practicing at today’s optional morning skate. No lineup changes announced.

Capitals

John Erskine skated extra after practice, meaning he likely will not play tonight.

Semyon Varlamov says he needs two more days before returning to practice. Alexander Semin not practicing today, he MIGHT play tonight.
