Annsi Salmela and Slava Kozlov should be healthy scratches.


Shawn Thornton should replace Byron Bitz.  Vladamir Sobotka would be your other healthy scratch.

Andrew Ference still practicing with the team.

Mark Stuart had surgery on his injured finger.


Jean-Michael Liles and Marek Svatos should return tonight.  Brett Clark likely a healthy scratch.

Milan Hejduk could return before the Olympics while Matt Hendricks will not.

Blue Jackets

Mike Commodore did not travel with the team.


Brian Sutherby will miss a week with a shoulder injury.

Red Wings

Andreas Lilja began a conditioning assignment.

Tomas Holmstrom should return tonight.

Jonathan Ericsson should be a scratch tonight along with Brad May and Ville Leino.


Per Rich Hammond: Raitis Ivanans and Brandon Segal will be back in the lineup tonight, with Peter Harrold and Teddy Purcell expected as the healthy scratches.

Niklas Backstrom still sick and not expected to play.  Wade Dubielewicz recalled from Houston.


Jaroslav Spacek likely will miss another game.

Paul Mara skated alone before practice.


Marcel Goc returns to the lineup tonight.


Patrik Elias should return before the Olympic break.

Paul Martin will not play in the Olympics.


New forwards Olli Jokinen and Brandon Prust should make it to Los Angeles in time for tonight’s game.

New lines, see left.

Robert Lang should return to the lineup tonight.  Now word on who he replaces.


Dan Boyle will be a gametime decision.

Marc-Edouard Vlasic is out.

Jamie McGinn, Derek Joslin and Jason Demers recalled from Worchester.  McGinn will plan for Jody Shelley.


Todd Fedoruk will be a healthy scratch.

Maple Leafs

Christian Hanson called up from the Toronto Marlies and will play with John Mitchell and Lee Stempniak


Sami Salo will return tonight but is playing with a lingering groin issue.

Tanner Glass and Nolan Baumgartner will be healthy scratches.


Karl Alzner recalled from Hershey.

Quintin Laing, Mike Green and Karl Alzner will be the scratched while Braden Holtby will backup Theodore.
