Boris Valabik will miss an extended amount of time with a torn ACL.


Avalanche
Ruslan Salei cleared to play, but likely will be a healthy scratch.

Ryan O’Reilly did not practice and likely will not play tonight.

David Koci will not play with a broken hand.

Wojtek Wolski listed as day-to-day but expected to play tonight.


Blue Jackets
Fredrik Modin and Mike Commodore doubtful for tonight.

Oilers
Bryan Pitton re-assigned to Springfield, Devan Dubnyk recalled.

Wild
Niklas Backstrom and Josh Harding seem healthy again.

Canadiens
Benoit Pouliot will not play before the Olympic break.

Predators
Despite his wife’s pregnancy, Dan Hamhuis will play tonight.

Marcel Goc will miss his third straight game.


Devils
Anssi Salmela will not play following a hit from Jeff Carter.  Rob Davison recalled from Lowell.

Mike McKenna placed on waivers.

Zach Parise scratched.


Islanders
Doug Weight will play tonight.  He sat out last game due to a nagging upper-body injury.

Rangers
Corey Potter recalled from Hartford.

Per Larry Brooks: Marian Gaborik not expected to play tonight.


Flyers
Still awaiting x-ray results for Ray Emery; could mean surgery.

Coyotes
Mikkel Boedker and Doug Hoggan recalled from San Antonio.  Joel Perrault placed on IR.

No word on Shane Doan or Vernon Fiddler, but I would expect at least one of the two to miss tonight’s game.


Penguins
Mark Letescu recalled.

Maxime Talbot will not play tonight.


Sharks
Manny Malhotra expects to return after the Olympics.

Capitals
Semyon Varlamov recalled from Hershey.
