Sidney Crosby leaves practice with hip injury

Sidney Crosby will not play tonight when his Pittsburgh Penguins face the reigning Stanley Cup Champion Chicago Blackhawks. The injury has been considered day-to-day with the young captain likely to play in their next game against the Detroit Red Wings.
Technically the injury comes to his hip flexor, which could lead to a nagging injury as the season begins. Certainly a situation to keep your eye on but head coach Dan Blysma seems optimistic he can bounce back quickly.
