Stanley Cup Finals Game 3: Projected Lineups & Game Notes

The Washington Capitals did exactly what you are supposed to do in Game 2, go on the road and steal a game.

Despite losing Evgeny Kuznetsov to an upper-body injury in the first period, the Capitals held on to a 3-2 win in Vegas on Wednesday. The Vegas Golden Knights outshot Washington in Game 2, but Braden Holtby bounced back after a tough Game 1 and made an absurd stick-save late in the game to preserve the win.

Coming into Saturday’s Game 3, the Capitals are expected to have Kuznetsov back in the lineup after he practiced on both Friday and Saturday.

Neither team is expected to make any changes in Game 3. After two exciting games to start the series, we should be in for a dandy on Saturday evening.
